About the Artist
Born and raised in Southern California, Nick’s passion for art began at a very young age. He began coloring pages and drawing on his homework like the rest of us, but soon realized that this passion was much more. His studies of art began in high school and continued through college. Although it was his dream to be a full time artist, he was always told that it was unrealistic and to pursue different professions. As he bounced from job to job, art was always his one constant. But still he felt unfulfilled.
Nick has also battled addiction, trauma and depression in his life but has never let it keep him down. It wasn’t until a string of unfortunate events that he decided he could no longer live half of his life. In 2023, Nick lost his brother, grandmother, a friend and his job. Although this left Nick with so much loss he gained a new found purpose. Realizing that life is too short to waste another minute, he made it his mission to empower others. It is with this in mind Nick started his Art Therapy workshops. His plan is to encourage people to take a break from the hustle to enjoy the little things and not sweat the small stuff.
Nick is a father to two beautiful girls named Jayden and Zoey. He is also a husband to his amazing and supportive wife, Katrina. He would not be where he is today without her understanding and grace. Katrina has not only been a part of his story since jr high, but she is the other half to Nick Lewis Art. He encourages his daughters daily to be creative and think outside the box. Hoping that his pursuit will be the example that anything is possible and dreams do come true. Your only limitations are the ones you give yourself. So dream big and remember that LYFE is what happens when you follow your heART.
Message From Nick
Thank you for taking some time to spend with me here today. I hope that my work brings you as much joy as it brings me to make it. I pour my heart into each piece that I make and love sharing that with people. By supporting the shop you are not only supporting my dream of being an artist but allowing part of me to be a part of you. I am extremely humbled and forever grateful for each of you. Thanks again!
